Cheese #5 (Mt Sterling Smoked Goat Cheddar).

Being that it’s raw cheese and made in America are big pluses in my book.

When I picked this smoked cheddar and gave it a nice big sniff it was love at first scent. I don’t believe I’d ever had a goat/cheddar before so I decided to give it a go. Also J loves cheddar cheese, smoked cheese and goat cheese so I figured this would be a win win win. NOPE, she said it was the worst cheese we’ve tried yet. I’ll agree that it’s not my favorite but no cheese can be that bad in my opinion. It didn’t really taste that much like “goat” cheese per say and the cheddar was very mild so to me it was more like a plain cheese smoked. Not enough kick for the palate.

Z suprisingly loved it. The kid who’s told every cheese we’ve tried so far to “talk to the hand” couldn’t get enough. I had to cut her off at a certain point.

The light peaking through the window was making some cool patterns on J’s arm and the wall behind her as we talked about our day.
